Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Architect to lead and manage complex data migration projects for our client, CTS. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in data migration strategies, tools, and technologies, with a specific focus on SAP S/4HANA. This role involves working in a hybrid onsite environment in Plano, TX, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of data migration activities.
Key Responsibilities:

- Data Migration Planning: Develop comprehensive data migration strategies, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- SAP S/4HANA Migration: Lead the migration of data to and within SAP S/4HANA, leveraging tools such as SAP Data Services or SAP Migration Cockpit.
- Data Mapping and Validation: Design and implement data mapping solutions, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data throughout the migration process. Conduct thorough data validation and reconciliation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business analysts, data owners, and IT teams to understand data requirements, migration objectives, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in the data migration process and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize data migration processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation of data migration plans, processes, and outcomes, ensuring knowledge transfer and compliance with industry standards.
- Project Management: Oversee the entire data migration project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Experience: Extensive experience in data migration, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in data migration tools and technologies, including ETL processes, data mapping, and validation.
- SAP Knowledge: Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, data models, and migration tools.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex data migration projects on time and within budget.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve migration issues efficiently.
- Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- SAP certification in S/4HANA or related areas.
- Experience with other ERP systems and data migration projects.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
